Webreg is a web-based application built for the use of current students of UCSD. The students use the online portal for registering for their online classes. The only limitation of the web portal is that it can be accessed only by the currently enrolled students and only during specific enrollment windows.

It is advised not to use the web application on your mobile phone because if you try to log in to the webreg portal through your mobile device, you might face trouble logging out of the webreg portal properly. You will be subsequently unable to log in; instead, you can use your laptop or PC to access the webreg.

Once you have your appointment time available, you can also enrol directly using the search feature if the courses have available seats. For enrolling into a class of Webreg UCSD, follow the following instructions:-

  1. First thing first, log into your UCSD Webreg portal.
  2. On the far right side, you will see an enrol button; click on the register button for the class you want to enrol in.
  3. Next, you must confirm the class information is correct, then select the grading option (letter or pass/fail).
  4. Click on the confirm option. In some cases, students have the choice of selecting a unit option for a class.

A. UC San Diego strongly recommends you not to register for classes with time conflicts for different reasons.
