5. Select the box and click on submit. Once you select the box, you will receive an SMS text message or email with a PIN for an eID password reset.

What is the process to reset your forgotten eID password?

To access your MyVCU portal, you need your eID password. If you forgot your password, the VCU provides you with a self-service password reset that allows you to reset your forgotten password anytime.

1. Go to the login credential of VCU PORTAL
2. Click on “forgot password?”
3. Enter your eID and click on it to agree on the terms and conditions
4. Next, enter your email or phone number anyone for receiving your verification code
5. Once you’ve entered the given field; click on close to proceed
6. Check your inbox. You will receive your verification code.
7. Enter the verification code and click on validate.
8. Your new reset password credential will open
9. Create your new password and click the reset button.
10. Your password is reset. Go back and log in again with the new password.

2. Log in to your account with your current eID username and password.
3. Navigate to the password management tab at the top of the page.
4. Change password credential will open enter your existing password.
5. Create your current password and re-enter again to confirm and click on the change
6. Your password will change
7. Log out through the portal and log in again with the changed password.
